Create charts and graphics for large scale proposals for a global leader in program management. Produced a project highlights program on the company’s highly successful pollution remediation project on Cape Cod which included scheduling interviews, setting up cameras and lighting, interviewing project managers, and editing.

AECOM, Wakefield, Massachusetts

Art Director/Graphics Manager, 1995 to October 2009

Contributed to over two billion dollars of wins at AECOM, an international engineering services firm.  Lead production of video, print, trade show exhibits, and business proposals. Particularly adept at turning abstract concepts into informational illustrations that explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

  • Managed corporate creative department, taking the technical skill level of the staff to the next level with new computer and production methods
  • Produced and edited an interview video which contributed to winning a one hundred million dollar ten year contract for FEMA
    • Lined up talent and coordinated shooting schedule

    • Executed all post-production including sound and graphics
    • Created brochure and presentation graphics for the interview which won the Georgia Statewide Master Water Plan contract
    • Developed graphic concepts for the interview which won the $40 million Davis Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade in Austin, Texas
    • Designed proposal packaging for the winning Davie, Florida $50 million Treatment Plant contract

Graphic Artist & technical illustrator, 1985 to 1995

  • Provided the concept, design, and production of a wall-sized exhibit illustrating the Boston Harbor cleanup project, one of the country’s largest engineering and construction projects (on permanent display in the great hall of engineering wonders at Worcester Polytechnic Institute).
  • Provided the concept and design of an activity book explaining the basic principles of wastewater treatment for use in elementary school classrooms.
  • Created the proposal packaging and all print collateral for the 10-year Boston Harbor Cleanup project. Developed airbrush illustrations of treatment plants and office complexes and detailed schematics of wastewater treatment plants. Produced slides, color maps, site plans, and process flow diagrams, as well as architectural renderings, posters, exhibits, and book illustrations.

Ken Eulie Graphics, Andover, Massachusetts

President and Art Director, 1980 to present

  • Developed the concept, design, and production of an 18-foot exhibit for the Whale Conservation Institute to accompany the U.S. tour of the IMAX film Whales.
  • Rendered detailed exploded views of packaging machinery and exploded views of electronic keyboards for Kurzweil Music.
  • Produced ad layouts, copy, illustrations, billboard design, and signage for more than 30 local merchants and professional groups including Harbor Lights, The Curtain Loft, Maries Gifts, Weiner’s Furniture, Jaffarian Volvo/Toyota, and Farmer Funeral Homes.
  • Developed a brochure, marketing plan, and packaging system for the Rusty Old Car Museum’s classic car artworks, note cards, and clothing. Produced  the museum’s cable television series, responsible for casting, scene writing, location scouting, graphics and animation, lighting, sound, editing, and distribution.

Advertising Management Services, Andover, Massachusetts

  • Designed print advertising for large Boston area retailers – Summerfield’s Furniture, 128 Olds/Mazda, O.U.I. Office Furniture, National Carpet, Hoffman’s Waterbeds, and E.B. Horn Jewelry
  • Produced weekly newspaper New England Market Place. Dummied paper and supervised typesetting, ad production, and printing. Edited photos and captions and wrote several features each week including movie and restaurant reviews and an automobile review column

SCREENWRITING & VIDEO

  • Authored and produced teleplay, The Dentist’s Office, for campaign educating staff to sell AECOM brand outside the workplace
  • Co-authored and produced Searsport, a half-hour television pilot depicting life in a small fishing village on the coast of Maine
  • Top five award in the Massachusetts Film Commission’s screenwriting competition for Rusty’s Rescue
